Who am I?

Thanks for landing on this blog! My name is Ross Brannigan. I am an author, writer, runner, cyclist and general lover of adventures in wild places.

I am a qualified journalist and have worked for a range of outlets over the years, including The Herald and the BBC, and written for magazines such as The Great Oudoors, The Scots Magazine, Trail Running and The Fellrunner. I was the Race Reporter for the 2022 & 2023 Transcontinental Race and 2022 Trans Pyrenees races, plus the first edition of the Accursed Race.

My first book, Running Adventures Scotland, was released in May 2022 by Vertebrate Publishing.

I currently work in the global education sector, connecting peoples and places and telling their stories.
